Forza Motorsport 2 is the sequel to the first sim racing game of the franchise, Forza Motorsport, developed by Microsoft Game Studios for the Xbox 360 gaming system. It's expected ship date is October 3, 2006.

It is most likely that Forza Motorsport 2 will ship, like its predecessor Forza Motorsport, with both Single Player and Multiplayer modes though this has not been fully confirmed at this point (10 August 2006). Although on the official Forza Motorsport 2 website it says " Take your personalized car onto Xbox Live® for some intense online wheel-to-wheel racing." This would suggest a conformation of online multiplayer. The rating has not yet been given. However, due to the first Forza being given an E rating, the same rating is most likely to end up on Forza 2.
